MORE The story behind the birth of UPTEMPO
The Air More Uptempo was released in three pairs in 1996. This model became popular when Scottie Pippen wore the "Olympic #8" version at the Atlanta Olympics in the same year.
The design was created by designer Wilson Smith, who was inspired by the graffiti art that was painted on walls and trains in New York at the time.
As the name "MORE" suggests, it was the most advanced uptempo series at the time, and its overwhelming looks, both in terms of performance and design, made a huge impact on the scene.
In 2017, a collaboration model with New York skate brand "Supreme" was released and became a hot topic.
This is one of NIKE's classic models, not only worn by famous NBA players but also popular on the street scene.
