The story behind the birth of AIR JORDAN

"AIR JORDAN" was born in 1985 as Michael Jordan's signature shoe.
At the time, NBA rules stipulated that "the shoes worn must have a certain amount of white on them," but the AIR JORDAN 1 "BRED" (black and red) violated this rule.
Michael Jordan was fined for repeatedly being banned from wearing the shoes, but it is said that NIKE paid the fine on his behalf.
To comply with this rule, the white and red "CHICAGO color" and the so-called "BLACK TOE" with a white base and black and red accents were created, and he actually played in both pairs during his rookie year.
New models are still being produced every year, and the brand remains extremely popular in both the basketball and street scenes.
