UNDEFEATED × NIKE DUNK HIGH "BRING BACK PACK"
In this post, we’re diving into the highly anticipated DUNK HIGH collaboration between the Los Angeles-based sneaker shop UNDEFEATED and NIKE.
What is UNDEFEATED?
UNDEFEATED first opened its doors in Los Angeles on September 11, 2002, exactly one year after the 9/11 tragedy, with a mission grounded in resilience and strength. The brand’s name, "UNDEFEATED," embodies this philosophy, representing a spirit that won’t be defeated by anything.
The brand’s iconic "5 STRIKES" logo symbolizes victory, similar to the Japanese "正" (tally mark), where each strike represents a win. This visual element captures UNDEFEATED’s emphasis on perseverance and triumph.
Beyond sneakers, UNDEFEATED has a strong connection to sports, actively supporting soccer teams, sponsoring boxing athletes, and drawing influence from a variety of sports cultures. This deep-rooted passion for sports and dedication to its community make UNDEFEATED a standout brand in the sneaker and streetwear world.
When the first UNDEFEATED store opened on September 1, 2002, 48 pairs of "White" and "Olive" DUNK HIGHs were created exclusively for staff, family, and friends. These two colorways became legendary among sneakerheads. Eleven years later, in February 2013, the coveted White colorway was finally released to the public.

The tongue tag and heel side feature embroidered "5 STRIKES," UNDEFEATED's signature logo, giving this model a unique, standout finish. This special detail highlights the brand’s identity and adds an exclusive touch to the design.
In May 2013, the Olive colorway, popularly known as "BALLISTIC," was released, adding another highly sought-after style to the collection.

Like its counterpart, the "BALLISTIC" model also features the iconic "5 STRIKES" logo embroidered on the tongue tag and heel side, representing UNDEFEATED's signature branding and adding an exclusive touch to this unique release.
Unlike the previous White model, the upper of the "BALLISTIC" features a durable ballistic material, the same type used by the U.S. military for bulletproof vests. This tough fabric base enhances the sneaker’s resilience and gives it a distinctive, rugged appeal.
In 2013, four models were released under the "BRING BACK PACK," featuring two colorways of the DUNK and two of the HYPERDUNK 2012. Notably, this year’s DUNK models came equipped with ZOOM AIR for enhanced comfort.
As a fun detail, removing the insole reveals an imprint of the DUNK’s outsole pattern on the underside—an irresistible touch for true fans and collectors.
